“The Game is-a-foot”
Who doesn’t like the macabre, the grotesque, and the supernatural? well I do. I love the fantastical world of fantasy and lore. Combine that with an element of mystery and investigation and you have a perfect storm. There would be no Sherlock Holmes without it.
This scene was inspired by the Sherlock Holmes of the Victorian era, and the “Hounds of Baskerville” case. Set in the 1900’s, we step into a scene in a London flat, belonging to an investigative journalist whom it appears is in the midst of a case. Notes and various scribblings are strewn across the room in complete disarray, notes and evidence piling up, and it is clear the game is-a-foot. What is the mystery to which is being investigated? From the evidence compiled one can only conclude that some type of beast is roaming the moors and terrorizing the people of London.
